Staying Hydrated


Now more than ever it is critical to stay hydrated. For this week's Thirsty Thursday Tip, I'll help make it easy PLUS I'll give you signs of dehydration as well as benefits and tips on staying hydrated


Signs of Dehydration:

🔹Dry Mouth

🔹Unusual fatigue or sleepiness

🔹Light-headedness

🔹Dizzy sensation

🔹Extreme thirst


Benefits of proper hydration:

🔹Aids the heart with pumping blood thru the body

🔹Muscles function better

🔹Energy levels improve

🔹Aids in reducing swelling in feet

🔹Can prevent headaches


Tips to stay hydrated:

🔹Drink water/ juice/ teas throughout the day

🔹Avoid and limit alcohol and caffeine

🔹Eat plenty of fruits

🔹If you feel hungry and you just ate, try drinking water instead of eating


Here's what you can do:

🔹Add fruit to your water to help it make it more appealing to you.

🔹Eat foods that are considered hydrating:

Cabbage, Celery, Spinach, Lettuce, Strawberries, Watermelon, Apples, Grapes, Oranges
